Providing
vital aid where it is needed most
As a central
resource and provider of food and material aid, VicRelief
Foodbank exists to support emergency relief agencies and
community organizations, no matter what size, to provide a more
comprehensive range of essential aid to their clients currently
experiencing financial hardship or other forms of social
distress.
We are also
an active contributor to the wider emergency relief sector. Through
partnerships with other service organisations we initiate and
facilitate emergency relief programs and projects where they are
needed most.
VicRelief
Foodbank is a major participant in the Victorian Government’s
Disaster Response and Recovery Plan, providing state-wide
assistance to Victorian’s who have become displaced as a result of
bushfires, floods or drought.
Our emergency
relief services currently comprise:
Location
- The
central business/warehouse premises of VicRelief Foodbank is
located at 4/2 Somerville Rd, Yarraville.

Hours of
Operation
- The
Yarraville centre is open five days a week (Monday to
Friday)
- The
operating hours for the administration offices at Yarraville are
9.00 am to 5.00pm. Warehouse hours are 9.00am to
3.30pm.
- An
outlet is also be maintained at 2, Russell Court, Dandenong
which is open one day per week (Wednesday, 10.00am -
1.00pm)

Service
Fees
- Most items,
including all basic food products, are offered free of
charge.
- Some items
such as confectionery, chips and soft drinks incur a small handling
fee.
- All other
resources in the material aid program are free of
charge
