Victoria
Relief andFoodbank Ltd. (VicRelief Foodbank) is an
independent, not-for-profit company limited by guarantee. It
comprises four member organisations each of whom elect
representatives to the Board of Directors. The member organisations
are:
Foodbank
Australia>>
Established
in 1996 Foodbank Australia is a non-aligned,
not-for-profit company which seeks and facilitates donations of
food and grocery products for distribution to welfare agencies via
an Australia-wide network of Foodbanks.
Brotherhood of
St.Laurence>>
Created by
Fr. Gerard Tucker during the Great Depression,
of the 1930's, the Brotherhood of St Laurence is an independent
organisation with strong Anglican and community links dedicated in
its fight for social justice and an Australia free of
poverty.
Country Women's Association (CWA)
Victoria>>
The Country Women's
Association of Victoria is self-funded, non-party
political and non-sectarian organisation which aims to improve the
conditions for country women and their families living in rural and
remote Australia.
Jewish Aid
Australia>>
Jewish Aid Australia was founded in 1994 to
mobilise the Australian Jewish community to contribute to areas of
need in the Australian and World community. It provides assistance
as volunteers with material aid and project funding.
