About Emergency Relief Victoria

Emergency Relief Victoria (ERV) is a network of over 160 agencies throughout Victoria who provide or fund the provision of emergency relief (ER).  Agencies participate in the network by attending meetings and/or communicating through email or via this Bulletin Board. The  ERV network meets bi-monthly through meetings held in Melbourne.

The primary aim of ERV is to support the work of of emergency relief providers and advocate in relation to issues affecting people on inadequate incomes.

ERV was established in 1979. Its Executive, convened by VicRelief Foodbank, comprises representatives from larger and smaller ER agencies, drawn from among ERV network members.

Membership

Membership of the ERV network is open to any agency in Victoria providing emergency relief to people in need. Your agency can become a member by contacting the ERV Secretariat at VicRelief Foodbank by email: erv@vrfb.com.au >>
